Britain is illegally refusing pension rights to transsexuals by only considering their original sex, according to the European Union’s Court of Justice. The court said, “the right not to be discriminated against on grounds of sex is one of the fundamental human rights."

A Seminole man is fighting to stop alimony payments to his ex-wife because the woman is now a man. Lawrence Roach says his ex-wife has had a sex change and is now living as a man with a new identity. Roach says he should be allowed discontinue $1,200 in monthly alimony payments.

People born in New York city will be able to change the documented sex on their birth certificates by providing affidavits from a doctor and a mental health professional laying out why their patients should be considered members of the opposite sex, and asserting that their proposed change would be permanent.
